With their old site focusing predominately on jobs and neglecting their other core services, Gecko was tasked with building a website that catered to all of their different audience types.
At the start of the project, we met with CHASE to work out what their pain points were. Through discussions, it was clear that their current website was pigeoning them as a healthcare recruiter, and not allowing them to promote their other core services.
The goal of the new website was to present CHASE's full range of services, allowing them to position themselves as industry experts. However, it still required the functionality of a job board to aid their recruitment services.
After receiving the homepage and landing page design from CHASE, we created an interactive prototype that brought the static designs to life. It also allowed us to refine the user journeys for different audience types and explore the various content presentations that CHASE needed.
Alongside the bold new style guide, we implemented smooth and slick scroll based animations, raising the overall feeling of sophistication.
One of the biggest challenges we had with this site was building the pages in such a way that their print style layout would work for the web, specifically their use of diagonals lines dividing content. We set up the site using nested content components, which allows you to build up pages using different components, giving amazing flexibility and scope when creating pages. This means the pages are designed to suit the content, rather than the structure of the page dictating the content.
We integrated the site with the Broadbean Integration system - which allows CHASE to instantly distribute adverts onto their website in the recruitment section.
