Mhairi, Co-founder
Co-founder at Gecko. A real-life Edinburgher with years of creative digital work under her belt. An unapologetic clubbercise addict who lives for long walks, cheese, wine and classic disco - but maybe not in that order!
Michael, Co-founder
Co-founder at Gecko. A Manchester United fan (actually from Manchester) with an unhealthy passion for American IPAs. Mike has been helping businesses make sense of digital for more years than he cares to remember.
Bruno, Client Success & Delivery Manager
With a passion for tech and its power for good, Bruno ensures projects run smoothly and clients feel supported every step of the way. With two years of experience in relationship and project management, he knows that clear communication (and a bit of caffeine) is key to success. Outside of work, he has a lifelong love for dance - having competed back in uni and still making time for classes whenever possible.
David, Support Manager
Dave has been our master of support since 2013, and he's widely regarded as the second most popular answer to the question 'who you gonna call?' when you have a problem, coming in just behind the Ghostbusters. He's a superhero of problem-solving, always ready to help both clients and colleagues with anything tech-related. When he's not saving the day, Dave spends his free time with his family, taking on DIY projects and music.
Steph, Account Manager
Account Manager Steph has years of experience delivering top-notch service and ensuring client delight. When she's not busy with all things digital, you'll find her spending time with her family or you'll catch her immersed in the magical world of Harry Potter - watching the movies or reading the books! Say hello to our resident Potterhead!
Suzi, Finance Manager
When she's not managing tasks with precision and immersed in the world of finance, this busy mum of three enjoys escaping for peaceful walks with her favourite podcasts. She is also a spa enthusiast, so she is always up for some pampering and relaxation on a well deserved spa day!
Mark, Digital Designer
Mark is a veteran of digital design, having been in the industry since the late 1990s, back when people still 'surfed the web'. He has a keen eye for design and UX, which he has honed over years of experience working on digital projects for a variety of clients. Originally from the North, Mark now considers himself happily in exile. In his free time, Mark can be found exploring the great outdoors or reading a good book on landscape and nature.
Marlon, Senior Developer Lead
An Umbraco Master and full-stack developer with years of experience. Marlon is a safe pair of hands who can solve even the most complex technical problems. When he's not at the office, you'll find him soaring through the sky as he works towards his pilot's license. He's also a skilled Jiu-Jitsu practitioner who loves nothing more than grappling on the mat!
John, Developer
John is one of our talented front-end developers, whose passion for Umbraco sites is fueled not just by caffeine, but quite a lot of sugar! He's been a valuable member of the Gecko team since 2011, using his creativity and technical skills to help countless clients achieve their web presence goals. When he's not busy building amazing websites, John channels his creativity into his love for DIY projects and his woodworking skills are legendary!
Cristiano, Developer
Cristiano is our software engineering superstar who has been an integral part of the team since 2012. With a strong academic background in software engineering, Cristiano brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his work in developing web solutions for the .NET Framework. He's a master of technologies like C#, T-SQL, MVC, Umbraco, and Javascript, and his contributions have helped us build some truly amazing projects.
Michael, Front End Developer
Michael is our talented front-end developer who has a passion for music and literature. He enjoys making music and reading books in his spare time when he's not working on building and improving website front ends. Michael brings a meticulous eye for detail and a deep understanding of web design to his work, making him an invaluable member of our team.
Craig, Developer
Our developer, Craig, has a vast range of interests and hobbies. When he is not immersed in the digital realms of web development, Craig has a passion for video games, head-banging to metal music, and a love for football. Despite a diverse range of interests, the highlight of his day is exploring the outdoors with his dog, Maxi.
Michelle, Marketing Assistant
Michelle, our talented Marketing Assistant, loves spending time in nature and exploring the great outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends when she isn't off exploring! Michelle is passionate about learning new things and embracing opportunities for growth, as well as being a great lover of Avicii and EDM!
Baxter, Barketing Manager
The cutest member of the team who loves a treat, long walks and belly rubs. Can usually be found sleeping anywhere apart from his bed! A pretty laid back little floof unless the doorbell rings, and then, well...who needs a doorbell?
