One of our longest standing clients, Hadden Rankin approached us at the beginning of 2020 looking to upgrade their website, which included coming up with a design that felt much more up to date.
We started our project by going through the research process again, asking Hadden Rankin to tell us about their brand, their customers and the type of content they will be producing.
We retained the essential elements of their brand (the logo and purple/green colour palette), however we reintroduced these in a much lighter and more considered way.
On the home page we worked the Hadden Rankin brand element into a nice unique signature illustration, that encapsulates the area they operate in (Edinburgh property market).
A key part of the redesign was looking at the user journey on the site. We redesigned the navigation structure, clearly signposting the way for the different segments of their audience.
The new site was built using our latest Umbraco 8 framework, which allows for unlimited page creation. customisable tables and a whole host of additional features.
As part of the development work, we integrated with a 3rd party Estate Agency management system, which Hadden Rankin use to upload property listings to their website.
