CCL Logistics provide enterprise logistics services and technology solutions to clients across the world, and came to us looking to upgrade the functionality of their existing website as they found the CMS difficult to use.

The first stage in our project was to sit down with the client and gain an understanding of what elements of the site were causing issues and how they envisioned using it.
Following the consultation we undertook a review of the whole site, looking at the framework and scoping out what changes we would need to make to the code to allow for a simpler content management system.
Due to the complexity of the existing framework, it became evident that it would be more cost effective to create a new website from scratch on our Umbraco 7 framework rather than make amendments to the existing site.
After taking a copy of their old website, we rebuilt it using our Umbraco 7 framework, giving access to an easy to use CMS whilst still retaining the design and branding of the previous site.
Our Gecko Umbraco Development Library includes a collection of popular features that helped us deliver CCL Logistics more functionality in less time.
Following the successful development of the new website, Gecko have since been retained to carry out further custom development work as the website continues to grow and evolve.
We have also continued to support CCL Logistics with design work, such as iconography and content page layouts that compliment their strong brand.
