    A brand redesign focusing on evolution not revolution

    CASE STUDY
    2i wanted to pursue a revised brand with scale and focus

    We've worked with 2i for a number of years, initially creating their website on their existing brand, and then working alongside them to deliver digital marketing activities. They approached us recently to develop a new brand, assets and website that better reflected who they are as a business.

    The Project
    A simple, professional design that was born out of evolution, not revolution
    Having spent some time devising a new communications strategy, 2i felt their brand needed an update to reflect the direction their company was moving. The new design had to convey quality and assurance as well as working seamlessly across all channels, mediums and applications.
    • Concept
    • Brand Evolution

      Our focus at the start of the design process was to create a new identity using an 'evolution not revolution' mantra, introducing stronger imagery and creating new graphics that connected through all the services.

    • Identify Challenges

      Working in collaboration with 2i, we identified 5 key challenges that the new brand had to overcome; professional imagery, content capture focused messaging, consistent client touchpoints and communication capability.

    • Logo

      We kept the existing layout elements of 2i's logo, allowing the new font and brand colours to upgrade it and project a more professional image.

    • Brand Colours

      Small changes made a big difference, introducing darker, deeper shades of blue and green to convey a stronger and more professional image.

    • Service-themed Graphics

      We devised new graphical concepts that could applied as overlays to webpages and assets that represented 2i's ability to deliver clarity from complexity.

    • Unique Iconography

      We developed a whole new range of iconography for the range of services 2i deliver, using them to create an abstract visual language for the 2i brand.

      Applying the new design to the 2i website has transformed the message they convey to clients, and the new brand reflects the changes and trends within the environment they operate in.

    • Social Media Assets

      We created a number of social media assets including social share graphics and image overlays that can easily be reproduced by members of 2i's team.
