Daily hashtags can help boost your social media campaign
Whether it is trending, location-based, industry or daily hashtags, they are a great way to increase the engagement and visibility of your social media campaign. Using hashtags allows you to chat with those in the same industry or similar interests as you. Users can find you by searching for a specific hashtag in the Twitter search bar - who knows you might make pals or business partners?!
Why should you use daily hashtags?
Using daily hashtags in your social media posts can help boost the visibility of your social media posts. By increasing the reach of your messages, you increase your exposure, the likelihood that your content will be shared and the ROI on your social media marketing efforts.
How do you discover new and measure the reach of hashtags?
For this article, I've used #RiteTag (by RightKit), which is a useful way to find out which hashtags are the most popular. You can check out the hourly exposure they receive (but this can vary depending on when you're actually checking), unique tweets, retweets, and tweets with images and links, all with the preferred hashtag of your choice. It's a pretty handy tool and a good starting point when planning out your social media campaign!
Here's a quick list of daily hashtags to get you started:
- #MondayMotivation
- #TuesdayThoughts
- #WednesdayWisdom
- #ThrowbackThursday
- #FollowFriday / #ff
- #Caturday
- #SundayFunday

Monday Hashtags
#MondayMotivation
This is your chance to motivate your followers on that dreaded Monday morning. You can share your personal tips, inspirational quotes, life-lessons and anecdotes.
#MondayBlues
This is the opposite of #MondayMotivation. If you’re feeling low on a Monday (which I’m sure most of you are), then express your Monday grief and share what you got up to at the weekend. Most people are likely to sympathise and engage with you.
